Diagnostic Rough Draft Essay 1
There are two very power attributes an individual can possess in this world; the ability to give to another and help another from a pure heart. I believe that every person has a purpose on this world, mine is to help people. When I was seventeen I was hired at this leadership camp for under privileged kids. Here I was given the opportunity to teach children ages eight to sixteen, different leadership traits that would be very beneficial in their lives. Although I only worked here two months, I absolutely loved it, it was the best job I’ve ever had. I take pleasure in empowering individuals with thoughts to better oneself and one’s environments and I believe this is my way of helping.
I wasn’t the best child growing up, as a matter of fact I consider myself one of the worst. I experience with drugs, skip schools, and participated in a lot of activities I shouldn’t have. I had a sudden change of heart because of a serious incident that I encountered at the age of sixteen. Following the incident I gave up all my treacherous ways and longed for success. My pastor was a great remodel at this time in my life; one of the best things he did was lead me to the subject of positive thinking. Positive thinking helped changed my life completely!! I truly believe the best way to help someone is to teach them to think positive.
While working at the leadership camp I expressed the manifold blessings of positive thinking and the children were greatly affected. At the end of the camp the parents of the children revealed their gratefulness toward the teacher who taught them positive things, because they saw instant changes. A lot of the kids lived in belittling environment and it had a direct pessimistic affect on their minds. Teaching them positive thinking excited hope in them and a drive was born to excel and not just live. Purpose fulfillment danced in my bones, I felt so happy and complete all because I helped another.
My mind is to be a great help to people, especially adolescents, this is why working at the leadership camp has been the best job I’ve ever had. If everyone knew how to think positive failure would deplete and the world would be a better place each and every day.

If I were a Superhero
In this world there are two powerful attributes one can possess; one, the ability to give to another and two, the ability to help others. Personally, I believe everyone has a purpose on this planet; some are built to teach, some are ordained to build while another to tear down. My divine purpose is to help people, especially in the mental department. I remember when I was seventeen; I was hired at this leadership camp for under privileged kids. Here I was awarded the opportunity to instruct children ages eight to sixteen. I taught them different leadership traits that would prove beneficial in their individual lives. Although I only worked at this camp for two months, I absolutely loved it, it was the best job I’ve ever had. I take pleasure in empowering individuals with thoughts aimed at bettering oneself and one’s environment and I truly believe this is my way of helping.
I wasn’t a “golden child” growing up, as a matter of fact I considered myself to be one of the worst. I tampered with drugs, skipped school, and participated in many activities that I shouldn’t have. One day, I had a sudden change of heart; I suffered this incident at the age of sixteen that changed my life. Following the incident I gave up all my treacherous ways and longed for success. My pastor was a great role model in my life at this time; one of the best things he’s ever done was lead me to the subject of positive thinking. Positive thinking helped changed my life completely! I deem this statement factual: The best way to help someone mentally is to teach them to think positive. Gandhi stresses positive thinking as well, he quotes, “A man is a product of his thoughts, what he thinks he becomes!”
While working at the leadership camp I expressed the manifold blessings of positive thinking and the children were greatly affected. At the end of the camp the parents of the children were extremely grateful toward the teacher who taught their children positive things The parents proclaimed that they saw instant changes in their kids words and actions alike. These children lived in belittling environment that had a direct pessimistic affect on their minds. Teaching them positive thinking excited hope in their little souls and a drive was born to excel and not just live. Purpose fulfillment danced in my bones, I felt so happy and complete all because I helped another.
My dream is to be a great help to people, especially adolescents, this is why the leadership camp is the best job I’ve ever had. If everyone knew how to think positive failure would deplete and the world would be a better place each and every day. As Ralph Waldo Emerson would put it, “Thoughts Rule the World!”
